Balthazar is a journey into the Orient of dreams, beneath a sapphire sky scattered with stars.

For Nuria du Chêne de Vère, it takes shape as a vision: a comet crossing the silence of the night, the solemn silhouettes of the Three Kings emerging as they slowly make their way across golden dunes, carrying precious gifts. An image that recalls the backdrop of the Nativity scene she would gaze at in wonder every Christmas as a child.

This fragrance was born from an amber accord she has been working on for years, in search of a perfect balance between light and depth.

Supporting it is an intense, enveloping patchouli — a raw material particularly dear to her — which she chose to place at the heart of the composition alongside saffron and incense: sacred and vibrant notes, like the gifts of the Magi.

Balthazar is an olfactive tale that travels through time, a warm and mystical trail capable of evoking traditions, dreamlike landscapes and imagination.
